Today we went to the Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT (we also went with some friends last Thursday). We went last year too, but I must say that I enjoyed it so much more this year. Last year I was 8 weeks pregnant and pretty much everything made me sick!
Here are the foods we tried this year:
-Spicy Beef Enpanada from Santiago, Chile
-Chilquiles and Quesadilla con Chorizo from Mexico City, Mexio
-Beef Goulash with Bacon Dumpling and Tefelspitz from Vienna, Austria
-Chicken Sha Cha and Pork Pot Stickers from Shanghai, China
-Durban Spiced Chicken with Coconut Milk-infused Root Vegatables from Cape Town, South Africa
-Spaetzle with Creamy Mushroom Ragout and Regensburger Sausage with Sauerkraut in a Pretzel Roll from Munich, Germany
-Pizza with Sausage, Baked Ziti, Cream Puff with Mascarpone and Gianduja Chocolate from Bologna, Italy (Here we are in "Italy")
-Escargot Persillade en Brioche and Milk Chocolate Creme Brulee from Lyon, France
-Cheddar Cheese Soup from Montreal, Canada
-Spanakopita from Athens, Greece
Each item is about 2-3 bites so David so we would share one and it gave us lots of opportunity to try different things. The most adventurous item was the Escargot....I had a hard time swallowing because I looked at the snail and it still had horns! But really it didn't tast bad. Our favorite food was from Mexico.
Samuel seemed to have a nice time. It was pretty warm, but we slathered him in sunscreen so I'm really hoping he will have no sunburn! We took him on two rides (Imagination with Figment and Finding Nemo) and we also went to Turtle Talk with Crush. He enjoyed Turtle Talk, but didn't like the rides so much. Here is a picture of us in Imagination!

He is so cute! I am glad you had a good time. What kind of sling is that? I am sure Samuel loves it.
I miss Florida! I love to eat (if you can believe that)... and I LOVED the food & wine festival last year. I'm forever hooked on potstickers as a result... mmmm.. and pecan pie ... and Jamaican Jerk Chicken! The list goes on. Samuel is so cute! Sounds like he & Ally may get along well! I hope we can meet up when Aaron & I come January 24-February 1st in 117 days or so. I noticed you're wearing a sling... how's Samuel liking it? Ally loves my sling & she takes naps in it at Church (I'm hoping she will take naps at Disneyland while we're in line for rides, too).
Its a ZOLO wear sling. Samuel and I both really like it. It is made of really light-weight material so we don't get hot with it. It is the perfect Florida sling!
