Surgery
Today we had an appointment with the surgeon to see how Samuel is doing. The surgeon said because of how things look at this point Samuel needs to have a surgery to correct some of the way that the opening is developing. He doesn't think it should be too bad - just hoping for it to be an out-patient procedure, maybe less than 30 minutes. Anyway, it is scheduled to happen on December 3rd! Honestly, I think the worst part of this surgery is going to be the preparing for it. We will have to stop feeding Samuel food and formula, and give him only clear liquids and then 4 hours before the surgery he can't have anything. So please keep your fingers crossed that we can be scheduled early in the morning!

Good luck! You will be in my prayers! I experienced a child with no sleep and no food at around that age (perhaps you remember driving me & Kyrie to the hospital shortly after I moved to Florida). All went well, and she was such a good little trooper (although she didn't have to have surgery...). I hope all goes for you as well! We will keep you all in our prayers! Please let me know how that all goes!
At least you don't have to wait weeks and weeks for the surgery. I hope all will go well, we'll be praying for you!
You guys will be in our prayers!! Please keep us up to date! Love you guys!!!
