Quote of the Moment

This is what the past is for! Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see." Corrie ten Boom, The Hiding Place

Easter Weekend - Dying the Eggs

I really enjoy coloring Easter Eggs.  Samuel and I tried using rubber bands this year to make some fun designs.  We had so much fun!

I asked Samuel to smile and he said he wanted to have a silly face.  I think he is all ready for a Russell Family reunion as making a silly face in pictures is standard procedure :)  I love my little guy!

Easter Weekend - Green Meadows Farm

I have always been a big fan of Easter.  I love Spring and I love what Easter is all about.  I have great Easter memories growing up.  One Easter my mom bought us a baby chick and a baby duckling.  They were so cute and fun.  We also got baby bunnies one year.  It was fun to play with the little animals.
So for this weekend I got to take off Friday and Monday to have some extra time to enjoy with Samuel.  On Friday we went to Green Meadows Farm and had a great time.  Samuel got to ride a pony, help hold a chick and a duckling, try to catch a chicken and a duck, milk a cow (although he didn't want to so he just rubbed her side), go on a hayride, pet a tortoise, and see some baby bunnies.  All and all we had a wonderful day together.
